Scope of Privacy Policy Application

 

This privacy policy applies to how Authtify handles the personal identity information you leave when logging into websites and servers, as well as the identity information shared with our business partners.

This privacy policy is an integral part of the Authtify User Agreement and must be read in conjunction with the Authtify User Agreement.

 

Account information

 

To use our service, you need to create an Authtify account. If you choose to create an Authtify account, Authtify may ask for your name (if you prefer, you can use your real name or alias), birthday, gender, nationality, personal profile image, email address, and phone number so that we can identify you and provide you with better service. Some of the above information is not mandatory.

If you connect your Authtify account to a third-party account, we will use information from such third parties, including your third-party ID.

Some information will be publicly displayed on your profile page, such as your username, age, etc. We will use your birth date to determine if you have reached the minimum age for using our services. We use your contact information (such as your phone number) to verify your account and ensure the security of your account and our services. We use your background information (such as your nationality) to recommend content that you may be interested in and improve our services.

If you provide us with your phone number or email address, you agree that we can send a text message to that phone number or an email to that email address. We will only do so in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. If you deactivate our service, you will no longer receive any text or email from us.

 

Cookies

 

A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your computer or mobile device. Like many other websites and mobile applications, Authtify will set up or access Authtify cookies on your computer or mobile device.

We need your location information, such as your IP address, in order to establish and maintain a connection and provide services to you.

If your privacy settings allow, we will provide suggestions/recommendations based on your location information.

 

Device information

 

Authtify will automatically receive and record additional information about your device, such as the device model. We will use this type of information to detect abnormal activity and prevent security vulnerabilities. We will also use this type of information to identify prohibited accounts or devices.

 

Sharing information

 

Most of the messages on Authtify are public, and some may be immediately viewed by others. Therefore, before sharing any sensitive information, you should handle it with caution.

We may also monitor your group messages and personal messages to prevent illegal activities. If requested, your group messages and private messages (including any images or videos included) may be shared with law enforcement agencies.

 

User rights

 

The laws of certain jurisdictions grant Authtify users specific rights, which are listed in this section. According to applicable laws, you may have all or part of the following rights. If it complies with applicable laws, we will respond to your request as soon as possible after appropriate verification procedures, usually within one month. Your exercise of these rights is usually free of charge, unless we believe that a fee is required under applicable law.

Although we cannot guarantee the complete deletion of the data stored on our backup server, we promise not to use the data on the backup server for any other purpose.

The right to data portability - You can email: appservice@ovivas.cn Please send us your request requesting us to transfer certain of your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format to you or any other environment you specify, where technically feasible.

Right to withdraw consent - You may withdraw your consent at any time and request us not to continue collecting or processing your personal information. Your exercise of this right will not affect any processing activities that occurred before your exit.

Restricted processing rights - If you believe that such information is illegally collected, or if you have other reasons, you can request us to stop processing your personal information by email: appservice@ovivas.cn Send us a request. We will review your request and respond accordingly.

Privacy Options

 

You can set your browser to reject all or some browser cookies, or remind you when sending cookies. Please note that your choice to disable cookies will be specific to the specific browser or device you are using when disabling cookies, so you may need to disable cookies separately for each type of browser or device. If you disable or reject cookies, please note that certain parts of the website may not be accessible or functioning properly.

You can refuse us to send you push notifications at any time by adjusting the permissions on your mobile device.

If you don't want to share, you can turn off GPS positioning, microphone, camera, or other similar features on your mobile device. You can also hide your location, uploaded videos, recent activity times, and other information by adjusting the "Privacy" settings.

You may choose not to provide us with personal information, but this may prevent you from using certain features of the Authtify service as you may need such information to register as a user, purchase paid services, participate in promotions, surveys, lucky draws, or file complaints.

You can change the mobile advertising identifier in your mobile device or restrict advertising tracking through your mobile device's privacy settings. You can change your information by editing your profile in the application, including accessing your information, correcting or updating your information, or deleting your information.

 

 

Child protection

 

Authtify is not aimed at children, and if you have not reached the minimum age specified in the Authtify user agreement, you are not allowed to create an Authtify account or use Authtify services.

Authtify has zero tolerance for any form of child abuse or exploitation. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you engage in child pornography activities, or if law enforcement agencies require us to do so, your data (including group messages and personal messages) may be shared with law enforcement agencies.

 

Global Operations

 

In order to provide services to users around the world, we will conduct business globally. You hereby authorize us to transmit, store, and use your data in any country and region where we operate (including Singapore and the People's Republic of China). During this process, we will ensure the security of your data.

 

How to manage your personal information

 

Privacy settings allow you to control whether certain information is shared and whether you can be discovered by certain Authtify features.

You can modify your account information on the profile page.

If you believe that the personal information we have about you is inaccurate, you can also send us updates on such inaccurate information via email.

You can also deactivate your account by sending us an email. Once your account is deactivated, you will not be able to restore it again.

Please note that even if your account is deactivated, third parties may still retain a copy of your information.

If your account is suspended due to your violation of our terms of use, we may retain certain information (such as device information, phone number) to prevent you from accessing our services again.

 

Disclosure Statement

 

1¡¢ Protecting user privacy is a fundamental policy of Authtify. Authtify guarantees not to publicly disclose or provide your non-public information to third parties, except in the following circumstances:

a) When obtaining your explicit authorization in advance;

b) According to the requirements of current laws and/or regulations;

c) The time and requirements required by the relevant government regulatory authorities;

d) When necessary to safeguard the public interest;

e) When it is necessary to protect the safety of anyone (including you);

f) When it is necessary to address fraud, security, or technical issues;

g) When it is necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Authtify.

2¡¢ Authtify may collaborate with third parties (affiliated companies or others) to provide you with relevant services. In this case, if the third party agrees to assume a privacy protection responsibility that is no less than that of Authtify, Authtify has the right to share your information with the third party.

3¡¢ Authtify has the right to analyze the entire user database and use it for commercial purposes without disclosing personal user privacy information.

Enforcement

 

 

Authtify is willing to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to combat crime.

For security reasons, we cannot accept requests for non-public user information provided via email. Except for urgent situations involving imminent life-threatening situations, the original formal request (summons, search warrant, court order, or other legal proceedings) and any supporting documents (such as scanned copies of ID or police ID) must be delivered to Diffusion Technology Pte. Limited Office (as described above) before the user information is released to law enforcement agencies. We encourage law enforcement agencies to notarize formal requests to help us verify their authenticity. We will not release sensitive user information unless we are confident in the authenticity of the request.

The formal request should: (a) identify the AuthtifyID of the requesting account, (b) identify the requested information, (c) indicate the purpose of the request or indicate that the purpose is confidential; And (d) explain the legal basis of the request. If the formal request is not in English, we encourage law enforcement agencies to provide an English translation.

If required by law enforcement agencies, we will keep the existence of the request confidential. However, we may take action against any account that violates the user agreement, including disabling the account.
